[Marketing Plan] – Mays Business School at A&M
This has been an amazing program started about 6 years ago by Dr. Parish of the Marketing Department, Mays Business School at Texas A&M.
She is the Director of Professional Selling Initiative, as well as the Assistant Department Head.
The concept of the program is to give these students the opportunity to work with real clients before they graduate and enter the arena of public marketing. She strives to create an atmosphere where they get to use not only their textbook training but develop their personal presentation skills as well.
They addressed issues such as our strengths/weaknesses, opportunities/threats, organization, fundraising/ financial support from the community, recruitment, as well as suggested several implementation plans. Each group gave to us yet, a package with all suggestions made by them.
