Fall 2010, Update.

A Bryan-College Station delegation of civic, business, and university leaders traveled to Salamanca in April, 2010. They were warmly welcomed by Salamanca's mayor and University of Guanajuato, Salamanca representatives. Our group toured business and cultural sites to promote a Sister Cities partnership for the future.

Additionally, some group members visited a middle school meeting teachers and students. A program is developing to connect electronic pen pals with Bryan-College Station middle schools students.

Texas A&M University's Mechanical Engineering department has participated in university student exchanges during the last decade.
